I don't understand why Williams never gets the ball on dump passes of the drive when the defense collapses. He is such a quick leaper and good dunker under the rim

Scal is right, Horford left the game and the defense fell apart.

Tatum is not mentally ready for the season.

Having said that, would love to see Kanter playing.

Agreed. Our deep bench guys are getting no burn. They won't be ready when you need them. I bet Kanter has his PJs under his warmups!

Jeepers. Another 4-16 shooting night for Tatum, and he's even missing free throws. Just a crazy bad start to the year for him.

Don't worry, he's only due  to have one bad game a year. that's what he said after opening night debacle.

Horford does so much for this team...

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Scal: "They used their last timeout. But it shouldn't matter."

Mike: "You're right. It shouldn't matter."

[Brown bricks free throw.]

Mike: "But it might!"  ;D

Straight line drive, Tatum. Go strong.

Scal correctly pointed it out.

geez, what a thread. it is the 4th quarter and the celtics are UP by fourteen points. yet, almost every post is a moan, groan, woe-is-me post.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Why does this team seem like they are out of shape?

They're switching everything and yet somehow are getting lost on rotations. I'm so confused.
