I'm actually liking the defense and some of the offense, especially Jaylen. Tatum is the low point of the team for me. I feell like he does not like playing with the other guys. There was a transition play where he could have passed to Jaylen for an alley oop and he didn't, and when that jumpball happened, he was doubled and had Brown open on the corner

A bad Magic team went for 46. It was better to close the half but loads of layups.

But 46 is not that bad, at least we did not gave up any 30 point quarter so far. Bulls had 38 on us in just one quarter. It's progress baby... Hahah

It's the Magic. If you can't clamp down on the Magic who are you going to clamp down on?
I understand your point. If they score 46 on the second half and we end up winning by double digits while holding them to 92 points, I would be satisfied for now

A win is a win but beating the Magic isn't going to be satisifing.

good start to second half. hustle on defense. they just are missing open shots.

This team has me going from "rooting for wins" before the season to "hoping we don't lose" right now :')

Ugh.

Come on guys. We got this.

is Tatum hurt? does he need to take some time off?

I'm thinking his heavier weight this year has a lot to do with his struggles. Could've affected his shooting, and being someone who wasn't that quick to begin with, I'm wondering if that extra weight is making him that much slower and unable to get to his spots.

I think it's because of his playing in the summer. He looked better in the Olymics.

Shhhhhhhhh ..when we mentioned that he should probably rest the summer, some people said no need. I don’t want to hear that excuse now.

I think it's less of an excuse than a reason. Tatum looks off.

I'm guessing both of these things (weight + Olympic fatigue) are playing into each other.

I also imagine that there's cumulative effects from the last several seasons' condensed schedule due to Covid.

Why does Smart keep throwing those bad behind the back passes? Make the simple play.

If we don't watch it, we could possibly hear that Jayson is asking to be traded... to LA.

Or perhaps Tatum and Ben Simmons need to be united.

Good start but I'm still seeing areas where they could be showing more effort.

Better effort to start the third.

Stupid pass by Tatum but that would've been sick if Brown yammed that.

I hope they do. In like, Sactown or Detroit or something. Nowhere near where they wanna be.
