Clips are deep, hanging around down 2 stars and Norman Powell slowed due to recovering from injury, and Kennard out

I feel bad for the Cavs though. This is why I’m not a huge fan of the play in games. The Cavs had a lot of injuries throughout the season, but they managed to stay in the top 7/8. Why should they be “punished” to have to go through a series of knockout games when they were already in the top 8 in the first place.

They had two opportunities and just needed to win one game at home. The better teams advanced and the playoffs will be more entertaining because of it.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

If you can’t win one of two games against 7-10 seeds, do you really think you have any shot against the top seed. I’m a fan of the play-in. Cavs just aren’t a very good team. Give them the 7 or 8 seed and they lose convincingly. Those two games were more entertaining than their series would have been.

Ty Lue is really good, absolute reversal by playing small ball after the half

Trae Young is a very, very talented player

Yeah, he is. Great game. How bad did the Capella injury look? I didn’t see it. Hope Collins is back for the playoffs. Hawks are going to give the Heat problems…  :D

He was in a lot of pain on the court and couldn't put much weight on it, but...

There’s initial optimism that Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela hasn’t suffered significant right knee damage, but an MRI on Saturday will determine extent of possible injury, sources tell ESPN.

Clippers might be the best team in the NBA if healthy. Powell's good enough to be their 3rd wheel and beyond him, they're very deep with vet talent.

2 exciting play-in games tonight.  Play-in games are definitely fun.

That being said, I would expect a Clippers team with Paul George to put up a better fight against Phoenix in the first round.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

The Clippers were 6 games ahead of NOP during the regular season and yet they’re going home. That’s a hard pill to swallow.

Any way the pelicans beat the clippers?

Yep. They improved a lot during the season, then made a big leap after the McCollum trade.  I'd be surprised if they lose to the Clippers.  After that, it'll be tough to beat Phoenix, though.

Maybe if Zion plays.

Clips have a lot of size and length with PG, Morris, Batum, Covington. Very switchable team and it’s going to be tough for CJ. Plus, the games in LA…

They are long and experienced, but McCollum is playing out of his mind. Ingram can get his shot off on anyone. And Valanciunas has been great.

Herb is a tough match-up to throw at PG, and their offense is otherwise pretty mediocre.

And the young NOP are are probably more motivated than the older Clippers.

Plz clap

And its the first time in the Play in that 9th seeds in the reg season reach the Playoffs..and it so happened in both conferences.

Yes its annoying as hell if you played 82 games to position yourself atleast in the 8th seed only to be knocked off by the 9th or even possibly the 10th seed...but the motivation for the 9th 10th or even the 11th place team to keep grinding and play to win is atleast making the regular season games in late March and April interesting with lower seeded teams vested for the win.

Play in games should stay .
