Per Woj Cleveland getting Levert.

Good get for them. What's the trade?

Rubio's salary, lottery protected 1st, three seconds (Houston 2022, Miami 2022, Utah 2027).

EDIT: That's per Woj, but I don't see anything that says Cleveland had a second from Miami in any year, so not clear about that pick.  Maybe it's the San Antonio pick, but they have a number of 2nds from competitors in the coming years that would be the equivalent of a late 2nd rather than an early 2nd.  If it's not the SA pick, I'm not sure they'd be out of the running for Schroder.

EDIT #2: The Cavs actually save $300k this year, moving them a little further from the tax and making it easier to acquire Schroder (or any other player) with the DPE.

EDIT #3: Cavs lose the DPE because they traded Rubio.  So yeah, Schroder to Cleveland is more likely out, although they could still construct a traditional trade for him.

It could be a really good move. Health is the main issue.

I think this really suggests the end of Sexton in Cleveland. They already really didn't have the cap space for his next contract.

Wonder if he could be gotten for cheap.

Man, Boogie would've fit this team much better than Freedom.

Powell and Covington look good for The Clipps.

Clippers aren’t a great team, but their games are entertaining.

You taking Love?  And where you dumping Horford because they don't want him on their books next year

3 team trade

Boston - Love, Sexton, Rondo, Sabonis
Cleveland - Smart, Lamb, Schroder
Indiana - Horford, Langford, Wade, BOS (22, 24, 26)

The C's would have to believe in Sexton enough to pay him and that payroll would be astronomical next year until Love comes off, but it would be an interesting team next year and long term.  Obviously the team would devastate the PG rotation this year (just Rondo and PP), so this would clearly be about the future, though if they could find another vet PG in the buy out market, they could potentially contend this year if they integrated everyone ok

PG - Sexton (next year, maybe playoffs), Pritchard, Rondo
SG - Brown, Richardson, Dozier
SF - Tatum, Nesmith, Windler
PF - Sabonis, Grant, Fernando
C - Rob, Love, Freedom, Bol

Risky move given how well they've played of late (and they'd definitely need another PG for the rest of the year), but that is the type of trade that could pay off big time down the line.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs -
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards -
