Wonder if the MIA-ATL series could come down to home teams defending their respective home-court.
Is there anything about the series so far that would actually make you think that?

I doubt Butler will erupt for 45 points again. Hawks had a poor 3rd quarter. Thinking the home environment could help Atlanta. I remember in 2008, the C's hung with Atlanta for seven games despite them being pretty putrid.

I doubt Spolstra lets that happen.  It was Butler's 3rd 40+ points playoff performance for Miami which ties Lebron.  Probably won't happen again this series but Miami doesn't need it too.  The Hawks really need some 40+ point performances from Young.

Glad to see the Grizz bounce back strong.  Would really like to see them make the finals.
I see Adams started but only played 3 minutes.  Did he get hurt?

Yes. Atlanta made it to the ECF last season and they have essentially the same team. Capela is out for now, but they have Hunter and didn’t last year. Hawks played much better this game and they have a very good home record.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Pels are playing much better. Bet they get one game in this series. Maybe 2.

I can buy one, but I think it is east to forget how dominant suns were during the season.

I expect both Atlanta and New Orleans to play better tonight.  Not sure either wins, but that play-in is tough especially for the 9's being on the road that 2nd game.

Mo you had this one right (hawks game was closer than final score). Tip of the cap and a tommy point

They were very good in the regular season, no question. I just don’t buy them being good enough to win a championship.

Pelicans may actually win this game.  They have been a solid team since acquiring McCollum.  Real shame Zion isn't around or they'd be really interesting
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Losing Booker seems to have sucked the life out of Phoenix in this game.  I’m sort of rooting for the Pels but I do hate seeing injuries alter games.
