LET'S GO!!! One more sleep until Celtics basketball returns!!! 

Brady-Pats tonight and C's preseason starts tomorrow -- I hope to get in one more sleep but I'm guessing it won't be a good one. 

I am a Patriots fan, but definitely more excited about the C's preseason opener than the game tonight.

Schröder/Smart/Brown/Tatum/Horford

I don’t like the Idea of Smart playing the SG position and he would be if Schroder is starting with him. Would rather Smart have the ball in his hand, getting teammates involved and shooting less.

I can’t go along with you completely here. But I would agree that Dennis is best when he’s got the ball a lot, pushing it up the floor and penetrating off the dribble. He got more attempts at the rim and assist %s over 30 when he was in Atlanta than either of the last two seasons.

Hasn't Ime already stated that Smart is the starting point guard?

I do not think so. He has said something along the lines of, they want him with the ball in his hands more.

If Ime has said he has decided on any starters already I would be shocked.

I think I heard it from other posts here on CelticStrong.  I am not sure if there was a link or where the other people heard it.
Maybe I am just repeating a false rumor then?  Bad me.  I will research.

Signed back up to YouTubeTV yesterday just for the nba season. Finally get a first look at the retooled team tonight!

I remember being excited last year (as always)..  but Teague and TT do not compare with Al, Schroeder... and of course we now know Pritchard is a super reliable backup, Tlord could go supernova, and Nesmith is right on the edge of a serious breakout.

I do believe there's much more reason for optimism heading into this season than last season. More unknown, but more more upside within that unknown.

He struck a highly apologetic tone on Media Day, admitting that last year he was out of shape (too fat) and also admitted to not playing within his role.  He said those two things, plus 3-pt shooting were his focus areas for the off-season.
