on a positive note, smart is showing everyone that herro absolutely sucks at defense. good to know.

Herro and Robinson can be gone at every time down the floor. Same as last year. Why wasn't that the move from the start?
i have no idea on this. i would think the celtics would home in on them and drive the ball to the basket each time.

sigh....

and for those you keeping score at home, miami is shooting 3s at 50%, celtics at 15%.  :o
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Grant Williams makes me miss Semi
Semi can at least hit an open 3 every once and a while.

?

Does Grant do anything better than Semi? Worse defender, check. worse shooter, check...

please please please play Semi..so this debate can be settled.

Spoelstra takes a TO eventhough his team is still leading by 15 when he sees Smart making consecutive baskets. Smart coaching.

Brad will let the lead down to 3 before taking the TO.
I think that was a TV timeout that gets charged to Miami

Kemba is really hunted down and tortured on defense.

Right. Spoelstra sees a weakness and exposes it. Brad doesn’t game plan like that.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

BecAuse they had shoddy defense and fell behind big early, now they feel like they have to jack up 3s to quickly catch up

The old Marcus Smart heat check followed by the Kemba pull up fastbreak three.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
