The more of Jabari I see the more I realize he’s a decent player but maybe he wasn’t ready to be the face of an NBA franchise at the age of 19 and that’s ok.

I am afraid Smart is resorting to hero ball.

Smart finally makes GSW pay! Lots of stinkers before that one, a mix of good and bad shots that wouldn’t go thru

It’s those post moves that will earn Jabari minutes, even if his defense sucks

Forget defense, this team needs offense sparking off the bench lol

Parker has made a difference on the offensive glass.  As much as I’ve b****ed about his defense, we’ve needed somebody who will get dirty in the paint.

He's providing all that offensive hustle and muscle that I thought Wagner was going to at least try and do.

I’ve said it like 3 times in the thread but Parker needs to take all of Semi’s minutes

His offense sure is smooth. I can see him getting reinvigorated here. I hope he takes Grant’s minutes too once Rob is healthy.

We’re comparing a screwdriver with a wrench though...semi is a guy who can defend 2-5, 1-5 if he has to, and who can hit the occasional open 3. He can’t create his own offense or create for others. Jabari can create his own offense in the post and pick up offensive boards but is much more limited defensively. I suspect they will be deployed differently as based on the teams needs.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Win or lose, without three of their 6 best players, the Celtics have played some great ball. Really entertaining, exciting game.

Will admit, I could be dead wrong about Parker and what he could bring. I love being wrong sometimes.

I know the fascination with defense on this board is weird.

There’s a big difference between face of franchise and rotational bench player. I think he can feast as the latter
