What happened to Payton?   Only 8 minutes.

For all the talk up until the trade deadline about the Celtics acquiring Aaron Gordon, I've yet to really notice him this year when he's playing against the C's.

He's a glorified role-player with a large salary. He's good, but games like this are a reminder that he's not worth the salary to keep him. Especially when we'll need to pay Timelord and possibly Fournier.

One of the worst 2-team 3-point shooting games I've ever seen. C's were 7-33 and Denver was 8-34.

A combined 15 for 67.   That's got to be near record-setting bad.

Celtics blowout the hottest team in the NBA, Denver, in Denver. Celtics have now won 5 of 6 with wins over 3 playoff teams. They seem to be getting it together
Could this be a turning point in Celtics season Here's hoping

Perk mentioned it on the post game show, he said Brad decided to go with GWill and Langford for defense for large stretches of that 2nd half.

Kemba 0 for 7.   Payton 0 for 0.

it sure feels like these last few games are a turning point
much better play in the 4th quarter helps, and deciding to play defense.

I had to watch this on NBA TV with the Denver announcers. They were a little biased to say the least but they gave it up to our defensive effort. Man those 3 or more dunks from RWIII, Tatum & JB were nasty! Absolutely was jumping in front of TV. Wow!

I love these wins where we shoot bad...I think this is only our first or 2nd win where we shot worse than 30% from 3. Every other game we've shot that bad from 3 we have lost this year. I guess it helped that Denver shot bad too but the Cs made more of an effort to attack the basket in the 2nd half.

I'm fine with it because the put in a great defensive unit with size at every position!

They should start the game with Smart, Langford, Brown Tatum, and TIMELORD. That's a great defensive line up with no weak link. Defense, defense, defense!!!!

We shot 7-33 from 3 - a little over 20% - and won by 18.

Put that one in a museum!!

True - but they beat Charlotte. So either way somebody ahead of us was going to win.

Three nice character wins in a row. Need more consistency, but we are finally fighting. And Tatum has a jump in his step. Kemba has had some classic plays too. Maybe he is figuring it out

Really enjoyed that. Great to have the odd game at an hour where it can reasonably be watched live here in Ireland.

Hung tough when the Nuggets threatened to creep away at times. Reminded me in a way of a gnarly old boxer who just keeps getting back up which I thought was great. Showed excellent spirit. Then in the last quarter to blow away an excellent team like the Nuggets was a major upswing on the last few weeks. The more minutes Robert Williams plays, the more I like of him. Personally I think they were right to let Theis go to give Timelord his chance.

Does anybody know of a radio station or internet site where there is a post game show please? I've tried the main Celtics radio network but it's blocked here and even when I use a VPN to spoof my laptop as being in the USA, the site still seems to recognise that I'm not.
