New Coach. I would like to see JT and JB under better leadership who could develop them, and demand more out of them.

I've been hard on Brad lately, but honestly feel it's not him.

I say it's time to change coach. I think Brad has already reached his ceilings, and his managing star players are suspect at best.
Look like he even has lost interest in focusing to detailed game management, and that can be clearly seen in the Cs performance during the 4th quarters, especially during crunch time.

I am afraid with the way he manages his players and game like this, both Jays will leave the Cs once due time, and no star players would join the Cs.

This is about as openly frustrated as Brad Stevens has been postgame. It's still not much compared to many of his peers. But he said the team needs to "show a little resolve" and that they need to be "engaged in each other".

Brad Stevens has gone out of his way throughout the season to try to be positive in virtually every interview he's given this season. But after tonight's loss to the Kings, his frustration with Boston's inconsistencies have been clear, and he said the blame for that lies with him

If this doesn't scream "lost the locker room" to you, then I don't know what does. He clearly isn't and doesn't know how to motivate these guys and get them to even play hard and together as a team.

Sounds like he is repeatedly hitting his head on the desk..

But how is that going to make his team care exactly?

Brad: " I take blame"
Team: " Blame Brad. We are not having fun"

Its easier to change the coach than the players but my fear is that eventually we'll have more of the same. This is poor passing team with zero depth, a star player who shoots too much and an overpaid point guard who's past his prime and has a bum knee - that won't be getting better anytime soon.

Change coach is an absolute no brainer at this point...Brad is a good guy and did a good job coaching some bridge Celtics teams, it’s just not working anymore.
The only core I consider is the jays and everyone else is dispensable and given the deal they could be too at this point.

Steven’s has lost this team.

Time to lose Stevens.

Cs fan!!! What's up brother! Long time.  I agree. Dump stevens in the trash! He's garbage  lol!!!

Hey KGLL,

Thanks for the kind greeting!  Hope all is well with you.....

Stevens sucks....He’s not a leader nor a motivator for NBA players… He may have been in College with his band of young underachievers, But these guys Are not listening to him and don’t respect him at all.

Taking the blame repeatedly should make him realize that he’s been tuned out. If he wants to salvage this season, he needs to  do something drastic...like make Kemba the 6th man or something.

I think CBS is a good coach and if we let him go, some team will immediately pick him up. That said, I think the team is ready to hear a new voice, particularly the Jays

Coach is good, core is good, the two best players are too young to win the title. Sorry.

New coach.

About to be new core too if they don't pick up the mentality and slack.

New help is what I think we need. Tatum and Brown are not our problem it is the folks around them.  Our bench stinks, we have Rob and Smart, and some night PP.   The rest of the bench is duds.

Part of me thinks that and part of me thinks that it is ridiculous to let a very good coach go just because our young players decided they don’t want to listen to him anymore.

Before letting Brad go, I would bring in a former player as Associate Head Coach to really mentor and get on these guys. Someone like Larranaga is good at what he does, but he is even more boring that Stevens. And, no, I wouldn’t fire Brad to bring in someone like KG or Perk lol - that is just crazy. Just because they used to play basketball doesn’t mean they are ready to step into a head coaching role.
