BRAD, put Waters on Young!!! Please. Why won't he try it? Teague is not the answer.

Because Waters isn't a good defender and is literally completely unproven. Why would you combat Trae Young with somebody who is shorter than him lol? He's already eating against much better defenders

Waters is a very good defender who is quick with good hands. WAY better than Teague.

Waters named first-team All-SEC, Defensive Player of the Year.

Not this again....

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Despite what people believe on this thread, when you have zero shooters around Brown and Tatum they will collapse every time the Js trying to get to the rim.

You have shooters but you are not using them.

Yup. It maybe the only use for Waters. Teague is not doing the job. Would it hurt to try it? Would it hurt to try something?

i agree. teague has hurt this team from the opening minutes. i know he is only the 3rd string point guard. but waters, or edwards, or nesmith would be better out there right now.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

What a car crash.  Really shouldn't be looking but it's so brutal you just keep watching to see if it could get worse.

What's uglier, our offense or our defense?

I say Offense.

Embarrassing. And listening to this Hawks broadcast is even worse. What are Scal and Gorman saying about this crapfest?
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

This is the kind of game Larry Bird would get 20 rebounds.
...not because ALT is a bad team; but because there is no way LB would let the Celtics lose two in a row.

Our young leaders lack that kind of demeanor/resolve.

This is not on Brad.
Or maybe they're not quite as good as everyone assumes them to be.

Yep, possibly over paid
DA has been overpaying guys for years so that wouldn't be new. Brown seems good at his price.

I gotta say def.  Just no push back against the Hawks.  Everyone misses shots, but the lack of effort.
Just like that last play, no effort by Tatum to get around the screen to contest the Galo 3.  NO EFFORT.

I actually shut the game off earlier when on successive possessions, Tatum held the ball for about 18 seconds of the shot clock before getting rid of it and then on the next trip, brought it, ran another 15 seconds off the shot clock and then shot it himself.

Team has quit on their coach and on themselves.
