a decent game by grant, which is over due this season. i hope this means he picks up his play going forward.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

He was very good. He kept a lot of plays alive tonight, and put in some key momentum buckets. It was exactly the type of performance you need form a roleplayer in a game like this.

Good win.  Happy to win one where our three stars didn't play especially well, because with our depth that's usually a death sentence.  Kemba will be out tomorrow, so I hope Brown and Tatum have it going.

Props to Theis for his defensive impact in this one.  Props also to Grant Williams... I don't expect 100% from three every night, but this was the play I wanted from him this season.  Make a couple of shots here and there, keep the ball moving, good positional defense.  Hopefully he builds on it.

Come on?!?! Decent?!?!?!

He played tremendous tonight.

Sure it's fair to say he has sucked most of this year, but gotta call it like it is when he plays good ball, and tonight, he played outstanding. Shot lights out. Hit some late clutch free throws. Excellent on defense tonight. 2 block shots including a Steph three point attempt. Hopefully he has turned a corner and can build off tonight.

An end to JBs 20+ point game streak.

This commentary on TNT is brutal right now. Pretty much every poster on this site could offer better insight for free.

Grant, Theis and Thompson were a combined 12-16, 36 points, 21 rebounds, 3 block shots.

Sad to see Timelord didn't continue his recent good play. He didn't look good at all.

I don't like whining too much about the refs... but I don't understand how that dude only had one FT all night, given how much he attacked the paint.  He was at the rim constantly but he didn't get any calls.

He needs to finish better than he did tonight - and he will - but I feel like several of his misses were on plays where he got clubbed.

Our big men have quietly become very effective.

Theis has been exceptional this season. He's the best bargain in the NBA on his current deal.

I counted at least 5 times he was fouled and should have gone to the line and got no call. Four of those were on shots. Take away four misses, give him 7-8 points due to shooting 10 more FTs and Brown is having his usual 26-27 points quite efficiently.

With Kemba out tom, I hope Teague can get his act together. Sacramento has a very potent back court and I expect to see guys like Carsen and Tremont given some playing time. The Js need to bring their A game for sure, on the second game of a back to back at that, to give us a chance. It would have been nice to see Pritchard go against De Aaron Fox.

I only watched the 1st half but Thompson looked great.  The 3 noted had great stats.  If you add in RWilliams and Ojeleye, they were 0-3 combined with 2 Rebs and 2 fouls, still an overall good outing by our bigs.

I was surprised to see a line up with GWilliams, RWilliams, and Ojeleye on the court at the same time for about 6 minutes.  That unit with Teague and Tatum was -8 in 4 minutes.  I guess with Smart out, they needed to mix things up

That's the kind of production we need from Thompson going forward. If we get that, we'll be good!

Looking at the roster, I still think the team could really benefit from either a playmaking SF, or a real PF. Getting a guy like that can make life a bit easier on others, and give Jaylen/Kemba/Tatum some additional help. Like it's very encouraging to see G-Will have 15 points last night, but realistically that's not going to happen consistently.
