You may have said this with massive sarcasm(not really sure), but the statement is true. As bad as Teague has been, IT is completely likely a much worse player, right now, than Teague.

Why? The last rendition of IT we saw in Washington was considerably better than Teague this year has been
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I don’t know... That shot looks pretty good. Might be worth a look.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I think the Clippers should sign him.  They have a need and an open roster spot.  Nets also make sense though they obviously don't have as much a need given they have two of the better PG's in the sport on the roster.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

If he’s willing to play for a vet minimum contract, I’d rather have IT on the team over Edwards, Green, Waters. Possibly Grant Williams. He’s a career 18ppg, 5ast, while shooting 36+% from 3pt. Could he be an Eddie House type role player? Wouldn’t mind finding out.

Teague has got to be one of the worst players in the league right now, right? The fact that I find myself more comfy seeing Edwards and Waters over Teague out there is pretty shocking. I mean, Edwards has bust written all over him and even he looks super productive beside Teague

Cut Teague. Sign IT. Lift the curse!

i hope IT4 lands somewhere. his story is a tragic one. That season he had was still one of my favorite celtics seasons

He had an absolutely amazing season season - 29 per game, comps to AI or Calvin Murphy as among best offensive season ever for a small player.  At the time I was not a fan of either the pointing to the watch (it’s king in the fourth time) or “Back up the Brinks Truck”.  But losing the opportunity for a big contract (and the injury/recovery itself) had to hurt.  Hopefully it’s not about need for money (33 million should leave him wealthy for life) but rather the affirmation if a lot of hard work against the odds.

I imagine whichever way we go with IT we’ll be wrong.
We sign him ,he’ll suck.
Somebody else signs him he’ll look great.

IT4 big year was probably one of my top 5 Celtics seasons of all time.

Maybe because of Tommy's excitement of saying the little guy.
ok fine
