The Rockets are the first team that clearly is going to rebuild. So who would you take off of that roster? I’d take Tucker and House jr.

I’m guessing Wood is their guy. Nobody will want Wall at his salary.

I’d take Boogie still. The price tag can’t be high. He’s pretty effective in his limited minutes thus far. Would bring good size and can do everything out there. Would be nice for 20mpg.

Danuel House. He's on a bargain contract and is a good 3 and D wing who can make the extra pass and handle the ball a bit.

I think Boogie can’t be traded for awhile because he just signed. I’m not sure of a date...

But what are you trading back? Houston would want first rounders ... not sure if the have interest in any of our youngsters (outside PP)

I’d send out a first and a couple of seconds and edwards and green for spots and take House and Tucker.

Don't think they are about to rebuild from scratch. They got Wall + Dipo + Wood. That's a pretty solid trio.

Tucker is 35 years old. Given that the Rockets aren't considered a contending team anymore, I guess he's probably available for the right price. Wouldn't be against the idea of going after Tucker.

If House is available on the cheap, then sure why not? Don't think he will be though.

I’m pretty sure that the Rockets, correct me if I’m wrong, have there own picks so tanking is a very real issue.

Isn’t their 1st headed to OKC (top-3 protected)?

OKC basically has it so they get the best two of their own, MIA's and HOU's (top 4 protected) first this year.

Tucker would be a perfect mentor for Grant Williams.

Tucker all the way.  Reminds me of adding a guy like James Posey.  Expiring contract, 3 and D.  We need a guy like Tucker off the bench with Smart.  A 2nd unit of Smart, FastPP, Tucker, Timelord and Williams would be a great defensive unit.  shooters in Tucker, Fast PP and smart.  Two ball handlers and just all hustle and D.  I was hoping Romeo would fill the Tucker role this year but who knows when he will be back and what he will even be ready for.

Rockets don't own their pick if it is outside the top 4.  I don't think they are going into tank mode.  That said I'm sure they'd be happy to move off Gordon or Wall's contracts but I don't think they just going to start selling off veterans without getting something significant in return.  Like it might take a 1st to get Tucker and there is no point in that.

Not sure about that.   They seem to be in asset collection.   If no one offers a 1st for Tucker by the deadline, I could see a couple of 2nd picks getting it done.

But I imagine some contender will ante up the 1st.
