I'm not seeing the same level of impact this year by Marcus.   Hope he makes something happen defensively in this one.

The coach putting him in a bad position to play his game night after night is a big factor in this. Smart cannot play PG in a lineup with so little offense on the floor. He isn't creative enough to carry that burden.

In fairness there aren’t a lot of other options right now. I doubt he’ll give the nod to PP anytime soon if it means moving smart to the bench to start.
