Is there some league requirement on how many times a team has to wear these ridiculous looking "city edition" uniforms ?

I knew that once Nike got involved, we would see less of the traditional jerseys across the league and more crazy designs.
Many of the alternate uniforms look like the old CBA teams. All about the Dollar.
