I mean they made LeBron and Davis look pedestrian and they were a playoff team last year.

Maybe the Celtics are right where they should be at 1-2.

Yeah, a handful of teams especially the playoff teams in the bubble only had like 2 to 2.5 months off, and not a traditional preseason. So there's bound to be a lot of rust early on. And sadly, injuries too as we've seen with guys like Morant, Dinwiddie, etc.

I do feel many teams are going to treat the first month as preseason. Because lets face it, homecourt advantage isn't really a thing without fans anyways, and while seeding for matchups matter, it's still not something I think anyone will worry about until February anyways.

Wizards look like trash...

How long until Beal wants out of Washington and puts the Cs at the top of his list?

I was thinking about this. The Westbrook trade seemed like a good move to me. I like their roster with Beal-Westbrook-Bertans, but the rest of their team is pretty bad right now. Avdija might be good eventually, but he's a rookie trying to figure things out, which doesn't fit their timeline well. Bryant is a good stats bad team player that can't contribute to winning basketball.

It's definitely a situation to monitor closely. There's a lot of good basketball teams in the NBA this season. Someone that we expected to be good has to be bad, which obviously creates problems for the organization that wants to keep its good players.

I'd like Bertans more than Beal for our roster, but the contract he just signed is a bit steep. He's just not a good enough defender to be a starter on a good team (unlike Joe Harris).

Trading for Beal is difficult without trading Smart or Walker. I don't think the Wizards would want Walker since they just traded for Westbrook (although maybe they could flip him to the Knicks) and I don't think the Celtics want to trade Smart.

Anyone watched any Raps games? Are they deserving of a winless record so far?

They really lack a go-to-scorer.

Raptors 0-3 and Wizards 0-4 are already in a bit of trouble when Magic 4-0, Hawks 3-0 and Pacers 3-1 are having strong starts.
