All for getting harden if it doesn’t cost them brown and Tatum

Gordon and all our draft pick for years would be a no brainer.

I doubt that’s in the works, but with Gordon’s deadline being pushed back, Ainge is likely knee deep in trade talks.  It’s going to be an interesting couple of days.

What has James Harden done that would lead someone think he takes this team to a banner?  Have his teams not failed repeatedly in the playoffs?  Why would it work with the C’s?

My initial thought is I don’t want to lose 24 year old Jaylen plus whatever else for 31 year old James Harden.

Aside from the fact I think this whole thing is nothing more than speculation, playing into it, you could have stuff being floated out there in the hopes of creating a bidding war between two division rivals.

I agree.

But if you want to slot Harden at the PG spot and the deal is Walker, Langford, 3 first this year and a first in like 2024 I think you take it.

Harden, Smart, Brown, Tatum, Theis

Would love to see 2 separate deals...Kemba and filler to Houston for harden and then Hayward somewhere for a big. Don’t think you need to combine Kemba and Hayward together to get harden

Brown + kemba for harden + covington/gordon actually makes sense for both teams.

Neither side would be totally happy, but that is the sign of a fair trade.

C's get the league-favored superstar they need, and open up wing minutes for Hayward.

Rockets get a very high upside emerging star in brown, and a solid star in kemba. They could become a surprising team, especially if they keep Westbrook.

Not sure I'd do it. Briwn and Kemba are good Celtics. But a Tatum/Harden/Hayward triad does have potential.

I tried Harden and Westbrook in trade checker for
Walker, Hayward, and Smart.

Salaries match

Hahahahaha I knew it ....... why would there be a decision today? Why make things clearer for the Celtics? Is the draft not tomorrow?

Looks like it's more about DA extending the deadline to work deals than Hayward not knowing what he wants.

Gordon for Turner
Kemba, young players like Langford, all of 2020 draft picks plus future picks for Harden. (Doubt this would be enough)

Smart, Harden, Brown, Tatum, Turner...

Chris Haynes:

Yahoo Sources: The Atlanta Hawks are in play to acquire Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward.

So Boston trades Hayward for the 6th pick, ships 6, 14 and 26 with either Kemba/brown/smart to Houston for harden?

Hawks could sign him as FA. This is bad news if Gordon goes there.

Exactly. They have $44m in cap space. They have no reason to give up anything of value.

I mean, Atlanta has cap space, right? Why would they trade for him? Though it’s hard for me to believe that Gordy would choose Atlanta just for the big payday with no chance of competing.
