Obviously the move is to either keep Hayward or trade him. Letting him walk for free would be tough.

If he does go for free, Boston might as well embrace the youth movement. Will be one of the youngest teams again

Interesting that Boston did not try to address their bigs in the draft. Hopefully that will be coming with a Hayward  deal

one would have to think that's the case.  no one left in the draft that looks like a solid prospect  as a big to help next season

We havent addressed Bigs since the 90s> lol nothing new sadly..maybe one day we find an Anthony Davis - good luck till then with our shortsized ball

I don't follow college basketball too closely, so I can't really say anything about Danny's picks. But I'm hearing a lot of people here say that Nesmith and Pritchard are good/great shooters, and all I'll say in response to that is: People said the same about Edwards last year. So I'm not going to get excited about any of the picks unless and until they actually prove useful on the court in meaningful (read: non-Summer League) games.

Edit: This team does need bench shooting, badly, but I'm also a bit disappointed (once again ) that Danny didn't take anyone 6-9 or taller.

Yep, me too. He's a super versatile defender. If he can develop a consistent jumper (big if), he'll become a terrific 3+D player.

I don't follow college basketball too closely, so I can't really say anything about Danny's picks. Nesmith is a lanky guard who shot far better last year than Edwards ever had. Not the same thing.

I have no reason to doubt you, but I'm still not letting myself get excited unless these guys show something on the court when it counts. If Edwards was a bad example, how about James Young? He was supposed to be a pretty good shooter too, IIRC.
