Good luck to ya fella.

To me Doc seems like a terrible fit with that team for a variety of reasons.

But since I dislike the Sixers I'm not mad about it.  Here's hoping they blow a 3-1 lead next year.

They'd have to come up against a seriously weak team to get ahead 3-1 in a series initially

haha fair enough.

I could see it happening against somebody like Orlando or Indiana.

Definitely Orlando, not sure about Indy. Really interested to see who they hire as their new coach and how their drafting and free agency + trading goes.

Ugh.....so literally the Knicks are the only team in our division who don't have a better coach than us now.

Good for Doc, though, he wanted out of a bad situation and landed right back on his feet. These are the luxuries of being one of the top coaches in the league.

Next season is certainly going to be a tall task to come out on top in our division. I hope the Celtics are ready for the challenge.

lol     Doc Rivers top coach? lol

LOL. Imagine thinking Doc Rivers is any good, hahahaha.

Seems you've somehow missed Doc Rivers exceeding expectations maybe 2 or 3 times in his whole career as a coach, and mostly falling short in dramatic faction

You don't know what you are talking about. Move along.
Cute

lol I didnt see this exchange..

Apparently the entire Nets roster/coaching staff taking turns is better, too
I'm bitter.

Despite Doc being incredibly overrated this is a great move for Philly. Doc is a great fit for Embiid and Simmons for where they are in their careers. Doc is also an immense upgrade over the horrid travesty that was Brett Brown.

I think you mean Steve Nash, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Jacques Vaughan, by committee

Great hire.

I wish Glenn "Doc" Rivers the absolute best - just not against BOS.

I think this gives Ben Simmons the best shot at getting to the next level....

Doc can be tough, and Embiid is sensitive.  This might be one dynamic to watch. If I were Philly I'd explore trades if Embiid doesn't soon get into incredible shape.
