Pre-debate controversy:  Both candidates initially agreed to be inspected for audio devices in their ears.  Now, Biden has reneged.

I don’t see how this is smart politics.  By now refusing a reasonable and agreed upon request, it makes Biden look like he has something to hide.

Didn't see a topic on this so I figured I'd start one with tonight's debate about to begin.

Personally, I'm not sure what the point is, given so few are going to change their minds, but also, I'm so tired of these two parties shutting all others out.

That said, I am interested to see if either of these 'elder statesmen' can form a coherent, complete sentence.

Just do YOU, Joe.

Don't get into the swill like Donald is used to.

He does Swill best - and comes out looking (and smelling) like a perfumed pig.

Do NOT do Trump - this is the MAIN reason Mrs. Pelosi said to not debate him.

He plays by NO rules and I'm not sure the debaters can handle him.

Trump and his group are so skilled at planting seeds that they can they spew about later that it's really hard to know what's true.

This from the NY Post:
"In a statement on Tuesday afternoon, Trump 2020 communication’s director Tim Murtaugh claimed Biden’s camp agreed to a pre-debate inspection several days ago but “abruptly reversed themselves and declined” just hours before the match-up.
The story, first reported by Fox News, also revealed that Biden’s team requested two breaks during the 90-minute debate, or every 30 minutes.
This request was shot down by Trump’s campaign.
But Biden deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield vehemently denied the “pathetic” charges that their candidate would have an ear piece feeding him responses, calling it a “distraction” from Trump 2020.
They also denied they had requested breaks."

Well - do you believe Trump's communications director or Biden's campaign manager?  Is there a neutral reliable source for this (I couldn't find one, but maybe so).

I have to say that I am nervous about tonight as I am for a Celtics Game 7.

Why can't Trump answer the question about his Health Care plan?

Yeah I'll be turning this off early.

I feel sorry for whoever is gullible enough to believe anything Trump says.  Decrease drug prices by 80-90%?  Oh, sure.  Would have been nice if you did that 3 years ago.

Biden is falling into the trap of responding to Trump's mindless drivel.

This is painful.

Can't wait til we move away from this generation in the oval office.

You know what would be effective?  Muting the opponents mic when one of them candidates are speaking.  Enough interruptions.
