Ugh, Marc Davis is the ref tonight. A diehard Celtics-hater.

Kane Fitzgerald, Pat Fraher, and Rodney Mott the rest of the crew.

Atleast its not Tony Brothers..that guy is just a curse for Boston whether he calls it fair or not.

I hope they are not saving him for a potential game 7

Here is to hoping we just get this victory and get to a G7.

Im sure the league wants their baby Lebron to have more rest by extending the ECF.

Referees:  Marc Davis, Kane Fitzgerald,  Pat Fraher

Marc Davis is the lead referee in this game and in an LA Times survey in 2016, players and coaches voted him one of the worst referees in the league so he may very well be an X-factor.  Celtics fans may remember him as the ref that Rajon Rondo threw the ball at to get ejected.   Here are a couple of quotes from the article about Davis:
Hes cool as they come, but hes so arrogant, one player said. He instigates things sometimes. Marc will go back at a player. He forgets that hes talking to another man. Dont challenge a mans manhood. Now you are going too far.Marc Davis is hands down the worst, a player said. He acts likes hes your friend, but hell just screw you. Hell screw you and hell get the biggest attitude about it.
Kane Fitzgerald is quick to call technicals and so the Celtics need to be careful about challenging calls.  He is the only ref to ever eject LeBron James.   But as with most refs they can be good in some games and bad in others.

Where would the Heat be without Herro.  Seriously!
The rookie is personally responsible for at least two of the three wins.

...finding him and stopping him, should be priority number 1.  Heck, I would even go as far as saying - double team him.  Make someone else beat us.

Marc Davis is my all-time least favorite ref. He makes a lot of games unwatchable. I am as always hoping for a good whistle were I don't really even notice the refs. It's going to be tough if we get a lot of early cheap whistles.

which team has more pressure today. It has to be the Celtics. This is a win or go home for them.

Marc Davis is an insufferable clown. We all know this. Just gotta keep our cool. I think Crowder, Butler and Dragic can be baited into doing silly things - as can Smart...

Of course, for the Celtics is win or go home. But, for the first time in these playoffs, there's some pressure on Miami too. Lose this and they go to a game 7 against a more talented team who has all the momentum.

Teaching at school in Tokyo this morning so I can't follow the game live. Will check for updates at break time.
Good luck Celtics. Let's get the win and force G7
