  • GOT IT!!!
SMART made that shot,  but it was still a bad shot.

Which means more bad shots to follow. The C's lack of movement off the ball is horrible.

That Smart 3 might be the worst thing that could happen to us - unless he comes up with another miracle 5 straight run.
He is gonna think now that he can make anything. We ran zero offense there.

Whatever happened to our beautiful ball & player movement from Stevens' earlier seasons ?

I'll say this. If we were to see the team lose this series, I'd much rather go out with a fight than get blown out and quit like last season. Happy to see some fight to start the 3rd.

SMART made that shot,  but it was still a bad shot.

A legit "no, no, no... well okay, then" shot if I've ever seen one.

We're right in this game

Shows you had bad Miami has been that Boston can play this pathetically and still be in it...
I think you're right to an extent - our offence has been pathetic no matter how you look at it. But our defence has been really strong from where I sit

That’s it get them in foul trouble

Brad must have re explained to them how to attack the zone in case they forgot

If you heard Rachel's reporting, he literally let the guys have the floor at halftime and talk amongst themselves instead of saying much to them.

Perhaps he finally found something that worked, though that sounds just as much of a slight against his passive nature and style as a compliment to him regarding this decision to let the players lead.

That's still a terrible shot Smart.  Need to push the ball, drive aggressively, move the ball.  If we keep settling for shots like that we're guaranteed to lose.

I agree, he got lucky with the shot, A face up 3pt jumpshot isn’t the best option but sometimes you need luck.we need to keep up the defensive intensity and get transition opportunities. Our shot profile in the 3rd quarter has been much better

I cannot share what my mind was thinking but he does have a way of hitting shots when we look like rotting tuna

The Smart special. Never have I ever seen a player that elicits such a reaction so often

C's playing like garbage and refs helping the Heat and it's a tie game... I need a drink.
