Celts need to learn how to close better

I was not impressed with Tatum inability to close ... and almost deja vu gave up another layup to Powell

I don't understand his eagerness to drive to the basket when the Celts really need it vs just going to his signature drive stop and pop.

What do you mean? Tatum played great in G7! Easily the best player on the floor. He showed up in that game. He didn’t go supernova but he definitely showed up and played well.

That was a brutal loss. But in a weird way, I'm still not that worried. I still feel pretty confident we'll win this series. Of course though, they need to win Game 2. Though not impossible, but I don't see this team coming back from a 2-0 deficit. I think they'll respond and do better in Game 2.

Ditto! We controlled more of the game, unfortunately they had the last run. But I think we will do better in game 2 for sure.

I guess it's okay to be in an 0-1 hole, as other teams in the playoffs have come back up and won in 5 games.

But don't ever find yourself in an 0-2 hole.

Hopefully, the whistles go the Celtics way in G2. You gotta think the corrupt NBA will want this one to go 7.

But regardless, the Celtics have to find a way to close these games. It's becoming a major bugaboo.

Sadly it looks like now Miami will take this series. Maybe even sweep them the way it's going so far

Well I did say Boston in 6. So we have them right where we want them

Sure feels like a sweep right now.  At this point I'll be relieved if they win Game 3 and then make it tough in 4 and 5.

Now we get to see how these young guys handle such a situation. This will only make them stronger. Both of these games could have won either way down the stretch. Gotta battle back and get Game 3 and then go from there.
