TNT announcer just said it. Was this revealed before the game?

Great W!! Loved it!

I expect us to come out strong tonight. We simply have to.

We've seen Denver even the series with the Clippers. Everyone had written them off, myself included. There were people who thought they lucked out against Utah by Bogdanovic not being there, and after G1 against LA everyone thought they were done for. The machine of Kawhi, the All-Star wing play of George, the two 6MOTY candidates and the veteran coach were all stacked against them. Yet they came out firing and won the game.

We saw Milwaukee, with their backs against the wall facing one of the most embarrassing sweeps in recent history, come out and beat a tough Miami squad. They did this even with their MVP going down early, and everyone from fans at home to national TV analysts getting out their brooms. Even facing OT, Middleton and others never took a backwards step.

This is playoff basketball! Anything is possible!
Nailed it ;D

What I learned tonight: If you "scold" your wife for talking to you during the Celtics game, she might not take it as the character-building exercise that you intended.

Great effort, guys! Let's have this effort once again on Wednesday and get to the Conference Finals!

Time to go to the Raptors forum and revel in their misery!  ;D

Great win.  The intensity and focus were exactly what they should be.

Jaylen bounced back in a big way.  That dunk over Anunoby will make it into a few highlight reels.

9 more!

Brown and Theis, two guys that were awful in game 4, came out and had phenomenal games. That's the mentality of a champion.

Stanley Johnson! Forgot he was in the league

Johnston looked alot like Brown coming into the league. It shows how hard Jaylen has worked.
Johnson just never improved. Never shot higher than 39% from the field or 31% from 3. Wasted pick

Yeah, he just never got better than he was coming in but he's still young he could still have a career. I really thought he's hang his hat on defense.

Game six is going to be a war. I hope our young guys are ready!

My money is on Green!

I'm confident...I was always confident that we had the better team than Toronto. At our best they can't beat us. The challenge is getting us to perform at our best consistently, which is an issue of heart and mental toughness...which Toronto have in spades. We're getting there though.

So we've blown them out twice and the other 3 games have been close mainly because we didn't play well and Toronto had to really be at their best...if we make our shots in game 6 and keep defending we should be able to close it out. Just as long as they don't get in their heads too much and play freely I think we should be in a great position.

Same, I've always been confident in this matchup.  After Hayward went down I was a bit more concerned, but I still think we're the better and more talented team.

If we had Hayward this series would probably be over already.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
It's really unfortunate that 'the shot' caused us to lose two games, but all we need to do now is win 1 of the next 2. I'm confident they come out with the same energy in game 6 and put this one away. I don't think I can handle a game 7.

I didn't realize Nurse was such a whiny B.  I've lost a lot of respect for him over this series.
Think it's that first-year title winning entitlement

I mean, that's what coaches do. When you gain respect around the league, you can try to push that line with refs a bit further.
What's really surprising to me is how few techs he gets. Idk what exactly he says to them, maybe it's some cool stories, always polite etc, but just for sheer amount of the occasions smh...

Well of course, I get it.  Coaches are going to complain and advocate for their players.

But Nurse seems straight up disrespectful.  There was a clip of him in an earlier game this series staring down one of the officials as he walked to the locker room at half time, with the official eyeing him back until Nurse broke his gaze.  That should have earned him a T but it iddn't.

Here we obviously agree. See him complaining about something again after the game ended. Brad did get techs for just staring in disbelief on the refs' decision, while NN pantomime shows always have an approval ???
