I told you lads, Blazers in 6

Seriously though the Lakers have been dross in the bubble, losing AB and having the form of Dwight/McGee/Green dip takes away a lot of the layers they have to beat teams.

This is why it was important for Portland to take the 8th spot and not Memphis or Phoenix.

They just stole home-court advantage  8)

MELO! I'm here for this Carmelo redemption tour!

Yeah, he's definitely much more likable now as a supporting piece than the main guy. Seems like he's playing harder and more well-rounded now, too.

I'm guessing he didn't want to be a Chuck his whole life as a likely top 10 player to not win a ring.

Lots of upsets today in the Eastern Conference  :o

Miami Heat downed the Pacers to take Game 1
Was that an upset? I haven't seen anyone tip Indiana to win considering Sabonis is out. Or do you mean literally based on the seedings?
I did >:(

What a hell of a night!
I am not worry at all for the Bucks (for the first round because their lost illustrate some mental weakness that appears from the begining of the bubble), but the Lakers... They really thought Le Bron aura would bonify players like Dion W, Dwight, JR Smith ?? On playoff time KCP, an old D Green (still good in defense but offensively), Caruso, Javale, even a soft Kuzma... Their supporting cast is too weak for me to pass the west. They will probably pass Portland (but it is even not sure) but against Rockets and moore against Clips or Nuggets, I don't see them taking the win. Esp with what they show since 3 weeks.

other teams have two three bigs and the Cs cannot get one good big. Danny needs to go shopping. Get the Cs a big.

Don't know how Rondo's thumb is...but I won't be surprised to see the Blazers get Rondoed.

He controls the game...alley oops to Laker bigs.  He'll make a very big difference for them imo.

Rondo was the one who took out the Blazers 4-0 while with the Pelicans, by conducting a masterpiece with AD and Boogie....

I'm still sad that team:  Rondo, Jrue, AD and Boogie had so little time healthy.. Boogie's injury cut short what would have a been a very interesting post season for NBA fans...

In your defence, you probably didn't expect Oladipo to go down 10 minutes into G1

He'll make a big difference to their offence, but I think he'll massively hurt their defence. He isn't the shooter KCP is, and he's a much worse defender than all their other guards. Who are they going to hide him on? Melo?

I absolutely did not lol. Still think the Pacers have a shot at winning this series if Oladipo comes back.

Playoff Rondo is a different animal. I would be thrilled if he locks down Dame

Yeah, that they came this close with him down early shows that it's a toss-up series.

Looking forward to Indiana/Miami v Orlando in R2 ;D
