I don't know why Brad is playing Romeo.  He got torched twice in the first half despite some other good defensive plays.  Made a big mistake there by shading Harden to his left - the direction Harden wants to go.
This is harsh. I thought Romeo looked like a grizzled vet playing great defensively while he has been out there

He got blown by twice in the first half - each time the Rockets got an and-1.

Do you expect Brown and Smart to play 48 minutes?

No, but I don't expect a rookie to be able to perform adequately against a team like the Rockets.  I think Semi would be a better choice.

So a three point play isn't good but a four point play is fine? Because following your earlier logic, Semi shouldnt play either because he had good defensive plays but also got blown by Westbrook and fouled Harden for a 4 pt play.

Semi also got blown by a few times in the 2nd quarter lol. No Kemba, therefore Wanamaker and Langford play some more minutes than usual.

There were games where Brad only rotated 8 guys.  Playing Langford is not an absolute necessity.  There's a reason he's no longer in the game.

The bench is this team’s downfall... I’m still shocked DA didn’t try harder to upgrade it...

Trying hard to upgrade it and not upgrading it aren't mutually exclusive. Difficult to get an upgrade that would move the needle without sacrificing the core of the team.

Now is when Brad needs to earn his money and reputation.  Calm this team down and inspire them.

They just can’t seal the defender. Rockets too strong and being allowed to blow up the seal. Makes the drives way less effective.

When Tatum hit Brown in the corner for the three, that was a learning experiance.

Eh players don't really know how to use their hips nowadays, I find their technique to be lacking rather than their strength.

The larger point was having a player with more experience substituted in the game before a rookie would be.  In most cases this is going to be a better choice.  Why go with Langford before Semi?  Yeah, Brad doesn't know either.  That's why he second guessed himself and took Langford out.

What an absolute joke of a call. Pure incompetence from these refs. That's literally how every single fallback of Tatum's looks, but it's "not a basketball play". Awful.  >:(
