It's been 36 years since the Celtics have lost on Leap Day. Their 102-98 loss to the New York Knicks on Feb. 29, 1984, snapped a five-game Leap Day win streak for Boston that dated back to the start of the NBA.
After not playing on Feb. 29 for two decades, Boston started a new streak in 2004 and has won four Feb. 29 games in a row.

Holy cow great stat, TP to you, FLCF!!

Yeah that is some serious stat digging....

cmon C's we need a BIG win today against this team.  I am not a fan of Harden or Westbrook.  Can wait to see Smart and Jaylen on those two.

i hope CBS gives Romeo a run on them ,  his youth energy and lenght might frustrate them .

I wonder how many of Harden's assists are to Westbrook and how many of Westbrook's assists are to Harden.

Look, if he is undergoing Synvisc injections they should have just told the fans that he will be out for about 2 weeks or more.

  • GOT IT!!!
Stevens said he may be back on Tuesday. I would sit him out as long as possible though. The team will be alright without him in the regular season the way Tatum is playing.

As for tonight, if the refs don't suck the C's are primed to lay down a beating.

Yup, hopefully not another snooze inducing free throw contest.  Speaking of snooze, Uncle Snooze is on the Rockets now.  Fitting that he plays alongside Harden.

Officials tonight:
David Guthrie
Brian Forte
Eric Dalen

Personally I'm not too high on Eric Dalen.  But at least we don't have Tony Brothers.
