we're like 2 pieces away from being a legit championship team.

With a fully healthy team, we're a title contender as we are right now. The improvement of Tatum has made that possible. Get Timelord back and Kemba healthy, and we are absolutely there.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

That's what I was thinking.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Theis and Tatum- only ones to show up. Amazing that this is a close game .

Hayward does have 6 rebounds and 7 assists, unless we’re just talking about showing up being scoring
Yes, cause that what we need him to do right now

I wonder if when Lebron gets hurt...Hayward smiles
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I mean, Hayward hasn't been shooting great, but he's doing a bunch of other good stuff that helps, including 6 rebounds and 7 assists with 0 turnovers.

Yeah, ball really moves well when he handles the ball. He's just missing some good shots. Brown also has played really well on defense, but had some careless TOs and missing shots.

Yeah but his teammate had a much easier layup. A touch pass was the most efficient play there.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
we're like 2 pieces away from being a legit championship team.

We’re playing the top team in the West in their building and we’re tied. And some would say Kemba, who’s out, is a little better than wanamaker.

oh agreed, wasn't saying we aren't good! add kemba + a bench guy who's a bit better than wanamaker and i think we move from 'contender with a shot' to 'legit championship team'. the bench scoring is a real issue though.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."
