24-10 and the C's are playing good team ball. How about we just take them all out and put in a bunch of guys that won't sniff the rotation in April just because I can? Just keep playing with your food.

This is on Brad. He put in a garbage line up when we started to pull away and it's been downhill since. He never learns. He has absolutely no killer instinct - it almost seems like he feels bad for the other team and wants to let them back into the game.

Lol. His bench is thin and Kemba is on minutes restriction. Don't know what else he could/should do.

Don't sub out your entire starting lineup and put in a squad with 2 current g-league players, the guy who should be playing in the French second division, a guy who was playing in the Turkish league not too long ago, and Semi Ojeleye.

He started by taking 2 starters out. When that lineup was not running the offense well or rotating defensively, he subbed the other ones out.

I get it. Maybe he could do better, or maybe the players could put forth actual effort.

What lineup is he supposed to trot out?  ::)

Hayward, Brown and Theis are out. Kemba is on a minutes restriction. There aren't a lot of options out there.

If you guys are the coach you'd probably be Thibs out there and burn out your guys.

He needs to stagger his lineups better - just having Smart or Kanter on the floor brings so much stability to a group of rookies and 3rd stringers. But if you abandon them they'll flounder - as we saw. Also, what is up with our players? How is it that someone gets injured every game? Or is like Hayward out tonight because of 'load management'? Do the Celtics lose more player-games to injury than any other team in the NBA? Why is it that Kemba is an iron man for 8 years and then comes to the Celts and sits 20% of the games and needs load management in others?

If what I just checked, Boston is 12th on the list of total number of player games missed due to injury....so around middle of the pack. doesn't seem like it though does it?

Oh boy. You really want to burn out our players? At some point players have to rest. Kemba is on a minutes restriction as well. You guys are hopeless, complaining just for the sake of complaining.

Its exactly why these players are playing right now, so that the starters wouldnt be more beat up for the playoffs. This is how TEAMS, I repeat, TEAMS not just the Boston Celtics, manage the grind of an 82 game season. 10 minutes into the 4th quarter still to go in a close game, the Mavs already played 11 guys. You have a better chance of winning if you stick to an 8 man rotation. But you can't do it everytime. Its even harder to do when you have injuries and guys just coming off them.

If it were up to this forum, we'd have multiple starters playing 48 minutes tonight  ::)

The problem is the guys they have out are their core guys. Our starters have played a whopping 13 games together. Even less if you count top rotation players Smart and Kanter.

Well, if you try to "save your starters" too much? Might end up with double OT and everybody clocks 46 minutes.

But if you play the starters, they might get hurt.

Hopefully, Romeo will be part of playoff rotation.
