Cmon Brown. Just because you're hot on offense doesn't mean you can take defense off.

I’d rather he not pick up his third foul in the first quarter.
Take him off the court if he can't defend wideopen layups without fouling.
Wow, being the team's high scorer while being tremendously efficient, taking on the challenge of defending the much bigger John Collins and limiting him and winning the latest EC Player of the Week gets you no slack for not being your best at defense for one whole play.
He consistently has a couple of dumb defensive plays a game. But good to know Player of the Week=no criticism.

There's a huge gap between "no criticizing" and "take this player out of the game because of 1 defensive play"
It's almost like context exists. Someone said Jaylen gave up a wide open layup because they're afraid of him getting his 3rd foul. I responded by saying that he shouldn't be on the court if he's that worried about picking up another foul.

Context exists on others' posts, too. No one is saying that you can't criticize a player, but suggesting that one of our best offensive players shouldn't be on the court because he's being cautious on D while in foul trouble is absolutely worthy criticizing
You must like bad defense then. You can think whatever you want.

Does Kanter lead the league in offensive rebounding % off his own misses. My guess is yes. He has very soft hands.
Think Zion might be coming for that, but Kanter definitely has to be up there. He just reads it

Nice response from the C's.  I'd be worried if I'm the Hawks with Trae playing this well, and with the Hawks shooting so well from 3.

Wanamaker is such a bad off-ball defender sometimes

[dang], you got me there. I just love Trae Young and hate Rudy Gobert

Glad you can tell that from the me saying you knowingly took nick's comment out of context just to play the "wow I can't criticize anyone" card. Usually I try to be more subtle with my absolute disgust in guys playing defense
I'm bitter.

Has Young hit more 30+ footers than Lillard this year? Or is it just against us?
