This would have been a loss against the Nets.

Many open 3s Knicks couldn’t convert

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Scalabrine is such a tool!

He keeps talking about how Grant needs to start shooting 3s and that’s not true.

If Grant can just develop a mid range game, that’s good enough. Mid range shot, sky hook, etc.

Scalabrine is utterly clueless.

Good an bad in this game.  Really liked Jayson's and Jaylen's games today.  2 details I didn't like: RWill's casual giveaway -- we didn't see him again (hope he's back with a vengeance on Wednesday).  And Carson Edward's had a gift open look from 3 in the 4th and missed.  He's got to start hitting those.

The offense was pretty bad for long stretches of the 2d half, defense not much better. We won because the knocks are BAD.

So you want grant to develop the most inefficient shot in the NBA? No, Scal is absolutely right. A good defender with decent passing and can hi the three is a really valuable NBA player, a PJ tucker type.

This was a rough one. Good win! Randle 13 free throws vs Brown, Walker and Tatum combined for 12.

Barrett also had 13 free throws...

I think he means Grant has to start hitting them; the coaching staff pretty clearly wants him to take them. Apparently he hits them in practice, but he gets the yips in-game and is something like 0-17.

Grant has a nice little game close to the basket.

A wonderful way to end the NBA day -- Mavs are up 19 on the Lakers in LA with 7 minutes left.

Good win.  Knicks couldn't generate any offense when we finally decided to start guarding.  I wish we played more than 18 minutes of good ball, but we got away with it tonight.

Tatum and Brown took over the game.  And Kanter kept us in it with his presence on the glass when we were still stuck in neutral.

Lucky to catch last five minutes. Tatum and  Brown growing game by game. Great to see. Hayward returns and we will begin to roll again.

I think Scal has been wrong on with his analysis on just about every challenge this year.

His initial read was off but I think he cleaned it up before the official word. I like him as an announcer.

I like him too.  He's just been off (wrong) on the challenge analysis. Yes, this one wasn't as wrong as a couple others.

The Smart injury could be a re-injury of the oblique tear he had.
