Having seen them up close for two straight games, they’re going to be pretty dang good once healthy.  Dinwiddie is a handful, they have shooters all around, and a guy with a sweet fro blocking shots.

Now, kyrie still might screw it up but they look like a real threat to win the East once KD comes back.

I'm counting on Kyrie not being able to share the stage and causing problems. When Durant comes back the ball will be shared between the two of them only.

We all want Kyrie to be back... They are terrible with him around plus Dinwidlledoo would not be able to do his thing.

They beat the Cs yes, but you do realise it was on a day when Kemba and Jaylen were both Bricklaying.. We could have beaten this team if Kemba was himself and if of course GH was around.

No, Ive been told that calling the Nets a "really good team" is absurd, so\

so now going 4 of 8 is bricklaying?  Umm no, more like being iced out.

Kyrie plus the current Nets team doesn’t scare me, but yeah, a healthy Durant makes them Finals contenders.

Allen's blocked fewer shots than Theis.

They do run a nice offense, though, in contrast to ours, where 3 guys stand on the 3 pt line and watch.

not so sure about that.  we expected to be finals contenders with Kyrie last year, and we should have been.  I would never again have expectations that high for a Kyrie-led team and yes, even with Durant, it's led by Kyrie because he's going to have the ball most of the time.  also, there's no guarantee Durant comes back immediately playing like his old self.  He could very well require a year under his belt much like Hayward did.

nothing would make me happier than to see 2 years wasted for the Nets in their collusion with these 2 to rig a quick contender in the East.  (well, probably seeing the Lebron/AD collusion fail miserably in the West -- will likely have to wait until the end of the season and possibly playoffs before the wheels start coming off for them)

The Nets are okay, but I don't really see them as a threat (especially if we end up acquiring a more productive center.)

I only see 2 (maybe 2 1/2) legit threats to our chances of winning the East and that's Philly and Milwaukee.

Toronto is still very much in the mix. The only question is what do they decide to do at the trade deadline?

Add onto their roster or trade away some of their veterans like Lowry, Gasol and Ibaka and build the team around Siakam, VanVleet, etc.?

I know Miami and Indy are playing relatively well but I question if they'll last through the season.

If Brooklyn ends up becoming a threat to the Celts this year, then that's a major disappointment.

Agreed, except I’m more worried about Miami than Toronto. Miami is legit.

You betcha.

Not many folks talking about them right now...mostly negative stuff coming out about Kyrie's fit there and whatnot...

IMO they are sleeping right now.....just like that bear above.

When Durant comes back and that bear wakes up we'd better have some good weapons or RUN.

Yeah, the game on Wednesday should be interesting. It just seems Jimmy Butler tends to cause trouble wherever he goes.

Characters like him and Nunn are bound to cause some issues sooner or later. I also dont believe two rookies can continue to perform as they are and lead a team

One loss and already the Nets are going to be a problem? Man I wish people would be a little more optimistic about the Celts just a little.
