Why extend a players minutes because he's hot to win a game in November?
The league in general and all the smart teams are trying to keep players minutes in the mid 30s, they have reasons for that. I just saw an article talking about how much more running, cutting, and active the league is now. Combine that with the new health biometrics on when injuries are most likely to occur and I think its pretty easy to put together why the league is trending to play lower minutes in the regular season.
Now if Brad was pulling this in the playoffs like Coach Bud did with Giannis, then I'm getting the torches with you.
