Needs hospital bed rest.. Flat specifically for Kemba for a day or 2 if its nothing serious... I don't even want to speculate if its a serious thing though because it can be season ending.

As crazy as this sounds, as long as it's not career ending, or life altering, I'll be okay if the scope of the injury will only costs Kemba the season, because that really looked scary.

I mean, of course I want him to be as okay as can possibly be, but I'd trade a season ending injury over a life altering one.

I just want him to be okay, be able to move.

Why are we so cursed with injuries ??

Garnett '09 knee might have cost us 2 banners.
Perk '10 knee during Finals probably cost us Game 7
Hayward '17 & '19 leg & hand, will he ever be the same ?
Now Kemba most important that he is physically ok and not facing any real debilitating injury, beyond that basketball.
Somehow the Celtics are both the most fortunate franchise (being blessed with Bill, Red, Larry and co.) as well as being the most unlucky franchise (Bias, Reggie, unending injuries to star players like Bird, KG, Hayward and now Kemba).

Good way to put it. Add in Havlicek's shoulder in '73 which cost us the ECF on the team which still holds all-time best won-lost in Celts history, then the lost banner in '82 when Tiny was injured during playoffs, Bird's elbow in '85, McHale and Parish's feet/ankles in '87.

I could complain about Russell's ankle injury during the 1958 Finals loss to St. Louis, but since we won 11 of 13 in that stretch, I'll let it go.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Abby just called it a "devastating injury" -- I don't think that should have been the word to use.  We know it's scary, but not devastating till we know more.  I assume it's not because she knows anything more than we do at this point.

I’m pretty comfortable calling it devastating.  The most important thing is that Kemba is ok and can move his arms and legs and this is not some kind of permanent injury

But from a basketball perspective this is devastating.  We all know what’s coming.

I don't know what is coming. Fearful, but not certain.

While a concussion still isn't good, that's still AMAZING news that it doesn't seem to be anything truly worse.

Concussion like symptoms. Hopefully that’s all with a slight strain.

Instead of playing inspired we looked deflated.  Checked out.

Just throw in the towel already Brad.  I hate the [dang] Pepsi Center.

Really missing Hayward these last few games.  He’s probably the most consistent scorer.  Jaylen starting to regress back to average and Tatum just annoying.  Hayward, once he’s back, should be 1a with kemba (prayers).
