Celtics did a good job of withstanding the Clippers punch.

I hate Brad's offense. Stop shooting 3s. Try to get a layup.

OTOH, our ugly play drags other teams to our level on nights like this.
You can't just stop shooting open 3's. Your offense is ruined when you have no spacing.

Si se puede
Sure. Whatever you say. It's 1980, after all.

You have to take open shots. The execution has to be better but the shot selection has been ok other than some of Smarts 3s that we’re contested. Clips have really been defending the paint, Kemba got rejected 3 or 4 times at the rim. They have some tall timber protecting the rim.
Bingo. The reason we can't get into the rim is because we aren't threatening from 3 so far.

I'm not sure that professional teams in the NBA organize their perimeter defense based on whether in the most recent few minutes a team has been hot from 3. Maybe they plan for teams that are particularly weak or strong, from a schematic standpoint (and before the game), but it's not like after a team gets hot from outside they closeout any harder, or try to go over screens with more vigour.

Jaylen playing solid D despite his offensive struggles.  Way to read that play and disrupt the oop to Zubac

That’s the worst ever acting job from Beverley, surely Marc Davis has some personal pride in not wanting to get fooled by such a mediocre acting job
