Gordon Hayward 39/7/8? Safe to say the Utah Jazz Gordon Hayward is back?

Well lets keep our fingers crossed, but you can really see from the last game to this game there is a pop to his step. He is getting to his spots and making great decisions.

The cavs also have nobody who can guard SF's, Gordo was guarded by either a PG like Sexton/garland or a big like Love/Thompson basically the entire game. I mean going 16/16 from 2 is still bananas, but thats a  matchup you have to win.

Time Lord is a passing savant. That bounce pass in the paint was a thing of beauty. Cs have a team built for now and the future. Great job by Ainge.

His passing was good last year too. He is a very good passer. He has skills but still needs to keep working hard.

Had to leave at start of 4th, great to see we squeaked out a win!  Gordo was brilliant. We need him to be assertive, he's the key to our team being successful.

Hayward highlights - worth a watch just to hear the Cavs announcer at the end say "I'm sick of hearing his name" ;D

Also hard to believe Marcus Smart was able to contain Kevin Love.

Both Smart and Hayward really brings stability to this Celtics team.

Fun game overall. Just some questionable decisions by Kemba down the stretch IMO. I know he was hot from 3 but you dont pull up from 3 twice when you're trying to put a team away. But a win is a win!

That's something Kemba will learn as the season progresses.

Back in Charlotte, Kemba was the man.
Kemba had to carry the load all by himself.
With the Celts, Kemba will soon realize that he doesn't have to hit all the big shots.

would be quite fitting if Hayward's return to form is sparked by a game in Cleveland. This must be good for his Psyche and getting over any  emotional trauma from his foot injury.

Remember at the beginning of the season when folks here declared Hayward and Tatum busts and needed to trade them for whatever we can  :P

I don't remember that actually

I thought CBS almost blew this one by taking out a hot Edwards and leaving in Wanamaker.  I thought he waited too long to put Marcus back in but we still won.

That's weird to think about considering that we started 2017-18 at 16-2. Hopefully we can rip off another similar win streak! (Yeah, I know it's not gonna happen haha)
I'm bitter.

Feel like that was more a preseason sentiment!

I knew from the last game that Hayward was back.  Now, how did I know that?

You could see 1 game into the future?  ;D

lol you could just see from the last game he was getting to his spots easily... he also finished a thunderous dunk if I recall correctly. This team is loaded.

And now, we add Jaylen Brown - remember how well he was playing when he went down?
