Houston getting pulverized by the Clips inside, Zubac punishing them inside with 14 pts already and Harrell with 10 and Mook and Kawhi drilling them from the outside. 65-39

Yep, as I expected, this Clippers team doesn't care about regular season. Come playoff time, THIS is how they'll play. They've already had some quality wins recently over Denver and OKC. Starting to ramp it up
Reggie Jackson has been a much better pickup for them than I anticipated. So far he's averaging 9/4/4 with 50/40/100 shooting. Obviously not going to maintain that shooting, but it looks like he's bought into his bench role.

They're ridiculously deep. They have a legit 10 man rotation of Kawhi - PG - Montrezl - LouWill - Mook - Zubac - Beverley - Jackson - Green - Shamet. Those guys are all solid players at worst.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

The biggest thing is, even besides Kawhi and George, what that team has is toughness. They can play physical against anyone, even the Lakers. Watching Morris, Kawhi and Beverley hounding Lebron + AD will be fun to watch in May.

For sure. That's not even mentioning Doc, who clearly has still got it

Lol Harden. Just 16 points on 4-17 shooting (0-8 from behind the arc).

Beginning to think Westbrook is the true best player on the Rockets right now, not Harden

It just feels good knowing that the Lakers won’t be winning the West.  :)

I saw something interesting at the Rockets forum. It said that trading away Capela unlocked Westbrook but limited Harden. Harden dont have anyone to play pnR with or serve as his release when bottled up.

The Warriors are much more fun to watch with Steph.  I know that’s not saying anything profound, but it’s fun to see him back.  And credit to him for lacing it up for the last month in a lost season.  So many other players would have just shut it down until next year.

23/7/7 in 27 minutes against a top East team is not bad at all. If only he could’ve downed Toronto!

Wow, who'd thought the Raptors would clinch a playoff spot tonight even with the subtraction of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.

Looks like they're still pretty solid, exceeded my expectations of them.

This just puts to bed the argument that small ball will get you far in the playoffs... They won't.

It will be destroyed and hopefully Brad realize this before it's too late.

The Rockets are a different kind of Small Ball. Heck the Clippers employ Small Ball. Zubac/Harrell+Beverly and 3 Wings? Its no different from what we play. Also we already have an evidence that small ball will get you far in the playoffs. Or are you in your dreamland when the Warriors won 3 in 4 years?
