So far through 2 games neither Timelord nor Poirier nor Tacko have shown to me that they should be getting any type of rotational minutes in the NBA this year

have to agree with that unfortunately.  right now, I'm not too keen on Kanter either.

It's a good thing Ainge has until February to find a quality big man.

takeaways from this game:
- Starters all played hard to get off to a good start and to a man they all looked good.  only critique was a few plays Tatum channelling his Kobe on the last few plays of the first half.  Theis making a strong case to start at center
- in short minutes Romeo looked solid. 
- Waters looked solid.  won't get much time this year but looks like he could step in for short minutes if needed
- Green and Williams were ok.  Green making the case to stick with the roster
- Semi looked better this game but still needs to step it up in his 3rd year.
- Edwards was ice cold.  needs to do more on the court when his shot is not falling
- Everyone else needs to make some real improvements, particularly Kanter.  expected more than I've seen so far from Kanter this preseason

Starters were really good. Especially Jaylen.

Waters the best of the bench. He may be the most complete player among rookies. Just understands game, great decision maker.

Tacko a nice story but afraid this is becoming a novelty act. Could see Celtics cutting ties, or asking him to sign deal with red claws.

Tacko's a novelty at this point.  he's appealing to franchises that need to put butts in the seats, not compete for wins.  he's going to need a few years before he gets to a point where he might be able to be more than a victory cigar/towel thrown in.

Starters Smart, Brown, Tatum, Hayward, and Theis got the Celts an early lead and never looked back.
