He is a free agent. Decent player. Could replace minutes from rozier/morris/smart depending who is gone

He signed to Houston on the vet minimum

Wonder if he will take it again or maybe a light contract

He would be an upgrade for a back up point guard.

Nah.  His defense has improved but his shooting percentages suck.  I think we can do better, even with limited spending money.

Rather him than Rozier.  Could do worse using part of the MLE.

That said, not a high priority.

He's another irrationally-confident shooting guard in a point guard's body.

I can see why Ainge would like him, for that reason, but I'd like to see the Celts add one or two polished ballhandlers instead of more tweener guards.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Wasn't Rivers traded here for like 3 days in 2015?

I personally wouldn't mind having him if the price is right.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Austin Rivers had a chance to be here, but I recall that he was more privy on trying to earn more minutes and a solid role.

We already traded him once.

He reminds me of Rozier. He's got some talent and experience. Has a very good game once in awhile. But he has a pretty high opinion of himself and shoots his mouth off a lot. We could do worse.

IT and Rondo makes sense for us in my opinion. IT is a scorer and ball doesn't stick with Rondo... both work within our system.

gonna go ahead and guess you didn't see rondo play in LA?.

IT is far from what he was 3 years ago. And at that point he was the worst defender in the league. Imagine now
