I'm officially pessimistic about the pick ever turning into something legit.
Most on here are very happy with the outcome of the Sacramento pick last year.. look for another Langford 😂

You are again trying to turn this conversation to "Langford is a bust" thread. Shameless.

Completely shameless. It'll be so funny if Langford becomes a great player, and all these people slither back into wherever they came from.

I’m pretty sure what JV does next year won’t matter to us. Barring injury or a weird bounce of the lottery balls (assuming Memphis is even in the lottery) the pick is going to convey this summer.

Timberwolves 0-3 vs. Memphis, embarrassing with or without Towns

Losses on Nov. 1, Dec. 6 as well

Morant and Valanciunas didn’t even play in the December 6 game!

This ain't hapening in your lifetime nor mine.
Langford if ever he finds his nitch, will never be more than like Rozier was for us. If he does move on to another team, maybe he does.

Either that or he is out of the league in 2 yrs  like James effin Young.

Nothing Langford has done so far I have seen says that he will be a good player someday..nothing.  His 3 point shot remains non existent and we are in a three ball era. He should fix that first and foremost.

I am glad you like making such a hot take. You will fall right in line with:.

The guys who kept saying Brown had no BBIQ so would never become anything.

Or the guys that said Brown's handle was so bad it would never get fixed and he would bust out.

Or the guy that claimed Brown was a terrible FT shooter, would never fix it and so be relegated to never playing late in games because he was a liability.

Or the guys back in the day that kept saying Avery Bradley would be a bust because he couldn't shoot.

Rozier, E. Moore - also small guards that were seen as busts when drafted.
They both made a place for themselves in the league.

Drafting a guard has a higher upside than drafting a big. Wings are the best choice of course.
Ainge sticks to that and I agree with his method. We have the youngest team in the league while being extremely competitive.

Sure, because the kid has played 92 minutes of NBA basketball and doesn't have a defined role in the rotation.

BTW the word you want is 'niche" not 'nitch', lol.

Morant will win ROTY and looks like he'll be an All-Star next season. I said this about Fox and injuries and underperformance derailed him so of course now the Kings suck ding dong.

C's haven't been very lucky recently.

No, they haven't.
