Unless I am mistaken I do believe there is now an open spot on the bench.

Who would you bring in to assist brad, and be a person that can command a little respect from the players?
Would Pierce or Garnet be interested?
Posey?
Or a former head coach?
Who have you got?

I'd get rid of the entire assistant coaching staff, including that bozo that was involved in the Penn State scandal and surround Brad Stevens with intelligent assistants who actually know the game of basketball.

I think you definitely need to bring in an ex player who can act as a bridge, like Walter McCarty was.

Back when Kyrie made the comment about vets in the lockerroom, I think that was as much about the bench coaches as it was the players.
Would love to see a player or 2 on the coaching staff to be that inbetween.

I don't think the name matters so much as a guy who can command some respect with the players and maybe push them a little bit. You also don't want someone to undermine your head coach. Kendrick Perkins is one I can think of - he wants to coach apparently and has been in the G-League as a player so I think he's a guy who the entire roster could relate to. But I'm sure there are plenty of others.
As far as Pierce or KG - Pierce would be taking a pay cut and I can't see a guy with KG's personna being a lower rung assistant.

Ask Thibodeau to come back to handle the defense. Let Jeff focus better on the offense.

I would like Perkins, KG, or even Pierce to be assistant coach.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
