Milsap ove Gordon, stopped reading after that

 Comments like these sigh.

The point is, other GM's are doing much more with much less Chip's. That should tell you something about team building.

Newsflash. If your watching the playoffs. Murray is better than Brown and it's not close.
.

The point is, what you are saying is that danny made a mistake at that time, by signing GH, instead of Milsap.

what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

And here we go, a hind sight is 20/20 thread. This reminds me of the saying, if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.

Maybe get a better player development coach?  Or just a better coach.  Milwaukee turned it around in a year with practically the same roster.

That isn't all that true.  Yes Giannis, Middleton, and Bledsoe are all still there (along with Brogdon and Snell), but the rest of the rotation is different and Giannis keeps getting better and better.

Remember the Bucks had Jabari Parker, Thon Maker, Tyler Zeller, Shabazz Muhammad, Matthew Dellavedova, John Henson, Jason Terry, and Brandon Jennings play in the playoffs last year and many with key roles.

They swapped all of those guys for Brook Lopez, Nikola Mirotic, George Hill, Ersan Ilyasova, Pat Connaughton, Tim Frazier, DJ Wilson, and the injured guys of Pau Gasol and Donte DiVincenzo (and Brogdon just came back).

The simple truth is the Bucks totally revamped their rotation by adding better fitting pieces and more complimentary players.  They saw what they needed and went out and got players to fill in those holes.  They aren't even at full strength yet as Brogdon is just coming back, Snell isn't yet at full strength either, and they still don't have Gasol back (DiVincenzo is so deep on the depth chart I'm not sure he matters).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Hayward is better than Millsap and was at the time, but there is something to be said about roster construction, at the time of the Hayward signing Boston had Crowder, Tatum, Brown, and Smart on the team and didn't have a single big man other than Horford.  There is an argument that Millsap was a better fit.

That's 100000 Tommy points moranis. Remind me. People go back and forth this and that Murray, over Brown my point is it's not about always taking the best player at the boss emling a team chemistry roster construction he did that the first time around with Kevin Garnett Pierce Ray Allen rondo and Perkins but he hasn't been able to do anything close since.

I recall Ainge wanting Hernangomez and ended up settling for Yabu as an emergency fall back draft and stash.
