Nah, I disagree.  Fierce1 had it right, that's a 2nd round exit team.   Bucks, Raptors, Sixers, Pacers would all be better, assuming they resign their main guys.  Heck, NYK could even be better if they get Kyrie and AD.  So, who is your PG?  Jaylen not capable IMO.

well its big assumptions to assume that all those teams resign everyone and there is no decline.

and its a big assumptiion that neither Tatum, Brown, Hayward and picks would improve beyond what the currently are.

now a big key here is who that center is, cause that is a key point, but Hayward would run as a point/shooting guard much like how Doncic plays in Dallas and Brown just defends the PG spot.

Just a really big lineup.

A clips win would be great.  I don't think it spells the end for Lakers or Kings, but would be great.  A Knicks miracle v. the Kings tonight would also be great.

I can understand saying that for the Kings, but how can you say it for the Lakers? They are given a 1% chance of making playoffs at the moment. If they then lose a full game directly to the team they are competing with, how is that not a death to their hopes?

18 games left and 5.5 games out. Lakers are highly unlikely to make the playoffs, but much crazier things have happened.  Lebron is still a top player. They run off 3 wins, Spurs lose 3, and the lead seems much more precarious. But we are splitting hairs - I admit Lakers  are probably done.
