Might be a nice 4 game losing streak coming up

Those are sooo "last week".

Schedule matters. Been saying it for months in here. Glad others are coming around about that
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

8-12 sounds incredibly pessimistic.

I'd go for something like 14-6.

12-8

And they're already 1-0

Eight losses is a lot for this team. Can't judge them on this last stretch.

SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

8-12 sounds incredibly pessimistic.

I'd go for something like 14-6.

They been losing games to Lakers, Clippers, Bucks, Bulls, Raptors and Blazers like nothing

It's more like realism than pessimism.

I am going out on a limb and predicting we beat Washington 107-96.

Ebbs and flows. That's the worst stretch of the season. Unlikely to have great predictive value. It's akin to extrapolate the team was going to win 90% of the games for the rest of the season at the end of a 9-1 streak. Recency bias.

One game vs a team with a better avg point differential: @GSW.

Another 4 games vs teams with better records: vs DEN (only elite at home; 15/14 away record), @PHI (good matchup for Boston), two games vs the Pacers (weaker without Oladipo).

Another game vs a team with elite talent (Houston).

So a relatively soft schedule. Lots of late games vs teams that will be fighting for playoff position, as noted, is the most troubling fact.

They may be fine laying low, dropping some winnable games (but making sure they get the 4 seed) and then catch teams off guard in the playoffs. Clearly they prefer the role of hunter over the hunted.

I still think we haven’t seen their best basketball yet. Even when they were putting winning streaks together, there was room for improvement. When the games truly matter, I expect this team to be on point and everyone to accept whatever role they are given.

Is there any way to get Kyrie out of the lineup?

It's obvious the team plays harder without him. Everyone cuts harder, plays faster, looks more assertive.

Can we get a fictitious injury just until everyone is on the same page. We need a breakup...it's not you, it's me conversation needs to be had. It's hard to watch the flat uninspired play of this team with him on the floor. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Let’s make a pact with the devil 👿:
Take out giannis, Kawhi and Embiid , ( oladipo is already out)
And we will sit Kyrie ... we become the favorites in the east again lol

Lol I have a week off in the semester (Spring Break), and the C's are playing pretty much their toughest part of the entire schedule now. Ugh. JUST great...  :-\

But at least we FINALLY got hit with a nice snowstorm  8)

Oh well. Hopefully we can go 2-2 in the next 4, but I truthfully think it'll be 1-3. Just PLEASE beat the Lakers. I don't care how, just do it.

Really have stopped bothering with the regular season. Playoffs all that matter.

You have to keep in mind, they're bad on the road, and they have several road back to backs against teams that are currently playing better ball than the Celts.
