Honestly feel Smart will be the biggest stumbling block in AD trade. Tatum is a given. Danny will insist on keeping Marcus like he did with Rondo in the KG trade. More likely to give in on Brown than Smart.

Danny may not be able to match up salaries without including Smart. I love Smart on this Celtics team, and I'm very happy that he received that new contract and is enjoying shooting success this season. He is deserving of all the accolades, due to his strong work ethic. I definitely do not want to see him traded. Maybe part of the reasoning for Danny giving Smart that contract was with a possible trade in mind down the road. A $12M annual contract can be a huge factor in matching salaries, when trying to trade for a max type player.

I can easily see a Paul George trajectory for Jaylen Brown. Not giving up on him either.
Smart and Brown are way too valuable for the Celtics short- and longterm.

Just give up the Kings pick, Memphis pick. Even Williams. Combine that with Tatum and that's a godfather offer.
Those picks are more valuable to the Pelicans than for us anyway. Find a way to get salary filler out of Rozier and Morris. Ainge should not go any further (don't care about give up two late firsts though).

Our current core of Irving, Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Horford, Theis, Williams + picks will be in the NBA Finals sooner or later without Davis anyway.
