The constant repetition of taken out of context comments and segmenting video has led to bitter atmosphere for the fans.Said enough times it gets taken as fact without tone or the frustration of being dragged into another players business.
The use of Davis's father and bringing IT into the mix seems a scripted response by Davis /LA camp..
Davis has made it perfectly clear that he is only going to LA while under contract and is willing to force his way out to a team that will have no coach ,no youth and under Lebron control.
Boston has a great coach, with Danny Ainge and Wyc & Co. as owner fans and a much more exciting young  star than Lebron
I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND DANNY OF WINSLOW this trade could ruin the Celtics for a decade
There should be a petition to Adam Silver  to put a gag order as it is detrimental to league stability and its fans.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
At the very least, somebody on the Cs side should petition Adam Silver about the useless Rose Rule (and, it’s too late, but being able to sign a contract extension at the full max a year earlier - Kyrie). Our team, the Lakers, and the Pelicans are all going to be very effected the rest of this season because of a rule that literally makes no sense.

Yes the Rose rule has made this a mess.

What is the rationale for it, can someone explain? Instituted by a vote of the teams or by the commissioner?

It was agreed on in the CBA, meaning by the teams and the players.

The rule was meant to keep guys from leaving their markets. The rule is working as intended: the league didn’t want guys getting lucrative extensions with a small market team, then forcing their way to a larger market.

Got it. Thx Roy.

Of course it hasn’t worked at all when you think about what is going on today. Allowing a team one such contract is all it takes, right? Although it could always be worse without this restriction.
