I know, I know we are in the middle of a playoff run and its exciting to watch. But in the back of my mind as I watch the C's continue to win with our top 3 players basically being Rozier/Tatum/Brown (and horford being the steady hand).

I cant help but keep thinking this team can do absolutely nothing this summer and will be adding Gordon Hayward a 20ppg allstar, and Kyrie Irving a 25ppg all-star point guard.

there could be some crazy high scoring games next year with a lineup of Kyrie/Brown/Hayward/Tatum/Horford. everyone can shoot the 3, or drive to the hoop. And everyone has the ability to go off for 20ppg and carry a team when need be. and thats not even to mention the guys on the bench...

Assuming full health and total return of the same roster, it would be kind of fun to see.  Although, this would also assume that everyone is hunk dorry with whatever minutes they get out of the situation too.  You've got a bunch of guys who have shown they can handle 30-40 minutes a night.  Does Rozier happily slip back into a reserve role?  Does Hayward come off the bench etc...
Yup

Celtics are up 2-0 in the second round, riding Al Horford, a rookie, and the bench mob.
It’s awesome to watch...
But yet, I can’t stop thinking about next years team.

The key is to have Al Horford healthy moving forward. He's the heart of this team.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

Al is the Central Nervous System.

And, yeah, I agree about next year's team, but wish we could have it this year. Hayward, where are you? I thought you were supposed to be back in late March!

Next year will be special.

Buckle up.

Uncle Drew and The Haymaker got unfinished business.
