There was talk they were going to buy Bayless out, though I guess they don't need cap room any more so maybe not. And no real reason they need both Anderson and Korkmaz. So if they don't trade 2 of those 3 will be gone.
They have to clear two roster spots; Bayless is the obvious weak link.
On the whole I'd take Anderson over Korkmaz (more rounded game, better body, better finisher, and especially takes better care of the ball); however, the one that I'd question before those two would be Luwawu-Cabarrot.
Luwawu-Cabarrot performed better than both Korkmaz and Anderson. I think he is a better long term fit as well, but who knows it isn't like any of them aren't easily replaceable.
I’m surprised. In particular I can’t see how you could compare the “performance” of Korkmaz with anyone, given how few and how irregular his minutes were; and he’s two years younger. But he looks like he could emerge as a 3pt specialist, at least, while Luwawu doesn’t yet have anything that he can hang his hat on.
Anderson is two years older, and that’s a big difference at that age. So I’d grant you that. On the other hand you were saying that Luwawu performed better, which puzzles me. I’d say that Anderson is a more physical and more versatile defender, and a much better finisher. He takes better care of the ball, too, though that’s partly because he’s not great at sharing it.
Anyways I’d be glad to know your scouting report on these guys, and why you prefer Luwawu.
