I don't know about you but mark me down as someone who likes Smart attempting to become a shooter and the scorer off the bench this team needs. He is trying to broaden his ability to help this team beyond grit and tough defense and the areas he is trying to develop are areas this team sorely needs (shooting/scoring). Plus we need to know this before committing to him long term. One could argue we already know...but I don't believe this to be true.

Keep shooting Marcus...lets figure out if you can become that for this team. We're rooting for you...

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I'm not.

Smart needs to stop having more shots than Tatum. At this point it's tough to say he could have a Tyreke Evans turnaround, but I'm not seeing it. Smart is what he is. An above average Tony Allen with better ball handling and passing acumen without the finishing or shooting.

Love Smart, he's been one of my favorite Celtic players to watch. But I'm convinced he isn't ever going to be score more than 14 PPG in his career.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

His main problem has always been shot selection and I haven't seen an improvement on that at all. So keep shooting doesn't address the issue for me.
